The room was simple but beautiful and had a overhead view of the nearby lake. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They accommodated us by allowing us to have our dinner in the room on our first night and also prepared packed lunches for our day in Akagera. The food was also all amazing! Finally, I want to address a moment of superior hospitality from the staff. The night before checkout we realized the shower was only giving cold water. We informed staff the following morning and they worked for about 45 minutes to make sure the hot water came back on. I sincerely appreciate the care they gave on this experience. I would recommend it to others.
