Honest review of a family of three who stayed 7 nights in this “resort”; The hotel is very old (I believe it is under renovation as per pictures and videos advertised on booking platforms + at the hotel itself). That’s fine but facilities are very old and can be dangerous (swimming pool tile are broken) and are poorly maintained (electronic card system to open the doors of the rooms are not working - it took more than 30mn for the staff and the “engineer” to open our room door because the system was out of battery; the ACs are leaking (= lack of maintenance) which drops water in our luggage (rooms are very very small for what you pay.. close to 100USD a night for a small, not clean (hair in the bathroom, bad smell of the room, dirty toilets..)).. On the cleaning side it is… a nightmare. The “beach resort” has a very very dirty beach not cleaned (compare to other resorts you may find on the island that still clean their beaches). At night you will hear rats running in the ceiling of your room (picture as proof that we found a rat (removed by the “engineer”) in our room. The hotel is very noisy (they started to spray anti mosquito spray in the whole hotel at 5am in the morning.. that’s fine but the sound of the machine is terrible.. at 5am in a beach resort most of customers are still resting aren’t they?). Also be ready to smell cigarette in the whole resort as customers are authorised to smoke in the corridors of the hotel. Other things to relate: no hot water in one of the rooms we booked, they don’t provide sufficient shower gel, you may have to pay for water refill and the breakfast itself is very expensive for what it is: 250k / pax for a very low quality buffet. Last but not least the guard (I suppose he is working for the hotel) that helps you to cross the road to join the beach and the restaurant proposed us to eat at nearby restaurant rather than the beach restaurant of the hotel. (Is it a side business for him?
